my life arrived
today,
in new york,
in
a big white envelope
with little pink stripes
and a lifetime of
self-sabotage.
now
i am afraid
of
what will come,
what it will bring.
pink
stripes unfold
into clowns
and
big white tents
betray
what i (in faith)
was
trying to say.
my life arrived today,
